Clement Grey Rooster
Clement Grey Rooster is a specific variety within the broader category of White Hackle gamefowl. They are medium–sized birds with broad shoulders and dense feathering. Clement Greys are a historical strain of White Hackle originating in the 1800s. Pure white hackle feathers (feathers around the neck). They may also exhibit spangled plumage (feathers with small, irregular markings of a different color). Like other gamefowl strains, the Clement Grey rooster is selectively bred to maintain and enhance these desirable traits across generations.
There’s a growing awareness of the ethical implications of cockfighting, leading to increased opposition to the practice. However, it’s crucial to note that cockfighting is in many countries due to animal welfare concerns, and participating in or promoting such activities may carry legal consequences. Developed by breeders such as Judge Ed Wilkins, the Clement Grey line has gained recognition in the cockfighting community. They may have various color patterns, but they often possess grey or blueish plumage. These roosters are known for their distinctive features.
